Several ocean bottom seismographs (OBS) system jointly developed by Chinses Academy of Science branches of Institute of Geology and Geophysics (IGGCAS), Institute of Acoustics, and Chongqing Geographical Instrument Factory and installed in Zhangzhou of Fujian province during 1-10 September 2018. Recently, 5 OBSs and 1 intensity meter were connected and transmitted real-time data properly.

An Ocean Bottom Seismograph system geographically intstalled
According to the designer of Tingyu You, researcher of IGGCAS, different from the common seismograph which can be adjusted in-hand, but the ocean bottom is the most strange and changes, and the standing postures of all OBSs must self-adjustment. In general, the sensors used serves as a roly-poly and balance in any points is guaranteed.
You said, the OBSs have 2 key components of balance including an attitude sensor which gathering the attitude data, and a magnetoresistive electronic pass which detect the direction of earthquake sensors.
Feature modular shape-shifting design, these OBSs utalize mutual coupling between ocean bottom and cabin balls, cabin balls and earthquake sensors, to ensure the resonance between the earth and ocean bottom at the same frequency, and collect the righ and accuract information.
