It's important to establish smart monitoring & warning system, for example, a IoT-based geological hazards warning system was installed at a detect site of slope & retaining wall in Zuilong Hi-tech Parck of Longgang district in Shenzhen.

The system features real-time data acquisization, analysis and warning, monitors and shows the status and 3D model of slope & retaining walls in visualization methods. Integrated in a wireless pore pressure transducer, the system can detect groundwater level, temperature and humidity with innovative functions including high accuracy, real-time, automated wireless data transmission.
Additional, a high accuracy GNSS positioning module was applied to monitoring horizontal and sedimentation displacement of the monitored slope & retaining walls.
