Co-operated with the industry-leading companies, Guizhou Geological Environment Monitoring Institute recently developed a IoT-based geological monitoring platform. Through the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), IoT system, big-data acquisition platform, modeling system of UAV, geological displacement analysis system, 3D-warning & analysis system, the platform monitors the geological displacement & deformation from the sky, the air and the earth.
Guizhou 111 geological team is intalling GNSS displacement monitor at a coal mine.
According to the institute, the monitoring system is working and based-on the data acquisized from the potential high-risk geological hazard sites, as well as investigation in sites. On the basis of hazard types, deformation characteristics, characteristic phase, the selected types of smart monitoring sensors, such as all-in-one GNSS geological displacement monitor, inclinometer ties, level gauge, guyed-type displacement sensors and hyetometers.
Then, the data including hazard types, environment factors and field status will be transmitted to the warning platform. Analysizing the hazard the types and the extent of injury, a scientific, effective and compehensive emergency warning system is launched.
